We provide dry food, chicken mince, and rice for all the dogs at our Kennels in Johannesburg. We ask owners whose dogs are on a specialized diet to provide their own food.

For the best care, we recommend that owners who would like to keep their dogs on the food they are currently eating, as well as those with puppies or older dogs, bring their own food. This helps maintain their normal routine and prevents any gastrointestinal issues.

Our Johannesburg kennel can accommodate most feeding requirements, and we have fridges and freezers available for storage. Feel free to bring any snacks or treats your dogs might enjoy to make their stay even more comfortable.

If your dog is on any medication please notify the team member when booking in and dropping off. Please make sure you bring with the correct amount of medication for the duration of the stay.

All dogs are brushed regularly. They are given a relaxing bath and brush the day before they are due to leave us. If your dog requires extra pampering please notify us when you are dropping off.

Please ensure your dogs are fully vaccinated prior to their visit to the kennels. We kindly ask you to bring the proof of vaccination documentation along when dropping off your dog. In addition, anywhere that dogs congregate, it is possible for kennels cough (canine bronchitis) to be passed on. We ask that all dogs are vaccinated against this disease, and any dogs found having kennels cough prior to entry will not be allowed to board. Please ask you vet for details of this vaccination.

We highly recommend that you prophylactically treat your dog for tick and fleas prior to their visit at our kennels. Please ask your vet for the best treatment options available to suit your dog.

We cater for indoor and outdoor dogs. We have 4 different types of kennels available. The large dog grassed kennels, the small dog grassed kennels, indoor kennels and heated indoor kennels. This means we are able to accommodate all sizes of dogs and family groups. Our grassed kennels have a house with an outside grassed area which your dog will have access to 24/7. Each kennel comes with a bed and cozy blankets are provided. But please feel free to bring your own if you think your dog would prefer.

Our heated kennels are available upon request. If you request a heated kennel your dog will be in a outside or inside kennel during the day and moved into the heated kennel at night when its time to sleep. We recommend these for puppies and older dogs to keep cozy and warm during the winter months.

All our guests have the use of three large grassed exercise areas which are fully enclosed and supervised by a team member. We do not mix different family groups of dogs in the play areas.
